Since 2020, in order to stabilize grain production, grain planting subsidies have been expanded, and organic angelica root planting has been reduced on a large scale, resulting in a significant reduction in the production of new products in 2020, and serious dead seedlings in the early stage, leading to a rise in organic angelica root prices before new production in 2021.
As far as 2022 is concerned, on the one hand, after the implementation of the 20th edition of the new pharmacopoeia, it is easy for organic Angelica root to exceed the standard of pesticide residues. Affected by the low price of angelica in the first two years, the area of angelica root seedlings will be reduced in 2021, and the total output in 2022 is not expected to be large. Therefore, in 2022, the price of organic angelica root will be strongly driven and the two-level differentiation will be further expanded.
