2. Most of the forest land lacks care, it is common to just plant and leave it alone, often in a semi-wild state, with low yield.
3. The risk of picking star anise fruit is high, and the safety hazard is high. The anise tree grows very high, and the height of the anise tree can be more than 5 meters. If people climb the tree and pick it carelessly, it is easy to fall. In particular, some elderly people basically can't climb the anise tree for picking, and even if the star anise harvest is good, there is nothing they can do. Moreover, hiring people to pick is basically not profitable, and it is not cost-effective.
4. Recently years Carbon maggot disease appeared in anise forests in many places, and the phenomenon of "no leaves" appeared on anise trees. If the anise forest is planted too densely, once some of the trees are infected, the infection will be very fast, and it will be very difficult to control.
