Characters
Appearance: The stem is cylindrical, multibranched, brittle and easy to break. Single leaves are opposite, petiole is short or near sessile. Leaves are wrinkled and fragile.
Color: Green on the top surface and gray-green on the lower surface.
Odor: Faint smell
Taste: Very bitter

Active Ingredients of Green chiretta
It contains 3，14-di-deoxyandro-grapholide, andrographiside, andrographolide-19-β-D-gluco-side,14-deoxy-11,12-didehydroandrographolide, 4-deoxy-11-oxo-andrographolide, carvacrol, eugenol, myristic acid, hentriacontane, tritriacontane.
Harvest and processing
They are harvested at the beginning of the flowering period. After harvesting, Andrographis paniculata herb is transported back to the stall and dried in the sun until it is 50 to 60% dry, and then it is tied into a small handful and dried until it is completely dry.
