Characters

The Physalis Calyx is slightly lantern-shaped and is often squashed;

The surface is orange-red or orange-yellow,

There are 5 distinct longitudinal edges, and there are net-like fine vein patterns between the edges. The top is gradually pointed, the base is slightly truncated, and the center is sunken with fruit stems.

Light body, flexible, hollow, or with brown-red or orange-red fruits inside.

The smell is slight, the calyx is bitter, and the fruit is sweet and slightly sour.

Harvesting and processing

Physalis Calyx are harvested in early October. When the calyx changes from green to red from the base to the apex,  picked togetherwith berries and dried.

Storage 

Store it in a dry and cool place to prevent moths.

Due to the weather, it may return to the humidity when it is cold and hot. If it is wet, please receive it in time.

After receiving it, you need to ventilate and dry it in time. If it is not used up in a short period of time, you can choose to freeze it.

Please don't store it in a plastic bag.
